Tuesday Evening Bible Study
Central's minister, the Rev. Angela Pleasants, teaches an adult Bible class weekly Tuesday evenings at 6 p.m. She is teaching about the Minor Prophets -- Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habbakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi. The class is open to anyone interested. She will start the Book of Joel on Feb. 23.
Rev. Pleasants also conducts Lay Speaking training for lay speakers to get certified in the Methodist district.
